Evens was found on the side of the road with a children's car seat filled with cans of alcohol. Both Ashlynne and Ian were abducted Monday in the Fruitland area, Ian escaped but Ashlynne's body was found by family members near the Shiprock pinnacle. Tom Begaye Jr. was indicted for her murder. Accordning to both his and Ian's statement, Ian was left in the van while Begaye took Ashlyenne out to the desert, stripped her naked and beat her to death.
